Who are Cubs?

Our Cub packs welcome children who are aged 8 to 10½. All our cubs get the opportunity to try new things, make new friends, have adventures and build some amazing memories!

Each week the Cub packs have some great experiences, learning new things and trying different games and activities.

What do Cubs get up to?

Our Cubs grow to be brave and responsible, trying out a whole host of new activities! Here are some of the things we love to do...

Going on adventures

We love adventures! Whether you go racing down a river, scaling up a climbing wall, riding on a horse, or sleeping out under the stars, you'll get to spend a lot of time exploring the great outdoors,

Our cubs love building dens and rafts and conquering hills great and small - they know that there is adventure to be had all around us!

Learning new skills

Our cubs love to learn new skills! Many of the skills we learn are very practical and will help you in many aspects of life, not just now but in the future. Our cubs learn how to cook delicious meals, how to offer first aid, how to solve problems, and how to stick with various skills until they've mastered them.

Most importantly, our Cubs learn to be happy being themselves! We relish our diversity and celebrate the unique properties that each individual Cub brings to the pack. Our individuality helps us work as a team!

We build on our values of integrity, courage and responsibility.

Cubs learn to develop their own initiative and are able to take the lead in a variety of ways without being asked.

Helping others

We learn the value of the world around us by exploring global issues and ways that we can help. There are also many ways in which we can work with our local communities to make a big difference!
